Oh the sublime joy and satisfaction of a completed To Do list. The act of ticking off each task meaning you are one step closer to finishing a project, getting work done and being able to sit back and relax guilt free. It’s no secret on this blog that I love it! I confess that my To Do list usually has a couple of tasks left over each day so a totally completed list is a great feeling.
Right now, that means we are just waiting on parcels to finish up preparations for Girly’s Naming and I feel like I should be more stressed. Getting the lovely K to cater the food for me was a great idea. I’m relaxed and ready to enjoy my day on Saturday. I decided to delegate and it is paying off. I gave up control of the food and the ceremony as well and I’m so glad I did. It hasn’t been easy to stand back and trust others to do something so important to me but I’m truly glad I did.
It has also given me the courage to step out of my comfort zone in other areas. Today, I found out about a local choir that meets weekly and I contacted the Musical Director for more information. I will be joining this choir after Easter. I feel nervous but I can do this. I’m gaining the confidence to sing in front of friends because I feel like it. This is a huge step forward me and I’m so happy about it.
I also received a piece of mail today that has set me on a new course. I used to be a Direct Seller for Phoenix Trading which sell birthday cards and stationary. I’ve got a deep love of stationary and I had been toying with the idea of taking up selling again. I learned today that the start up packs have changed and that various new things to help have been introduced. It felt right so I contacted by old upline and while we were chatted an email popped into her inbox about new traders. The Universe was clearly leaving hints so I jumped in. I already have more ideas about how to make it work than I did for the whole time I traded last time. I feel so good and I feel like I’m hitting reset to a happy time.
Happiness is… Stepping out of my comfort zone and reaping the rewards.
